Spring Tide is a sound and light installation that invites us to celebrate the importance of the Sea in our culture and that of all coastal populations, as a protected natural resource and as an economic and employment engine for countless families.
It is an invitation to a collective rhythmic dance around the Sea, an initiatory rite formed by visual and sound patterns that invite to play and discover living landscapes of light, sound and colour.
A vibrant, immersive, contemplative and playful artistic experience for audiences of all ages. It invites the viewer to urban disconnection and to feel the visual and sound rhythms connected to this singular nature. The installation is adaptable to different urban and natural spaces, both indoors and outdoors. Contact us if you want to bring Marea Viva to your town.
The spring tides are a common phenomenon on our coast, which occurs when the sun, the moon and the earth are located, more or less, in a straight line. The attraction of the three stars aligned with each other, causes a strong intensity in the deformation of the liquid surface of the oceans, moving this intensity by these in the form of a wave that reaches our shores.
