Basoaren Ametsa is an ephemeral art installation designed specifically for the metal forest of the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao. A light installation that transforms the urban space creates a new model of urban nature. The installation invites citizens to enter into a game of light, colour and shadows, discovering the transforming power of light, and entering the dream of an inert metal forest.
Basoaren Ametsa is a forest that comes to life through the light at nightfall and awakens from its lethargy creating beautiful and mystical ephemeral landscapes through different lighting scenes designed to transform the urban landscape temporarily. When weather conditions permit, different scenes that alter the landscape and make visitors travel in time and space at that moment enter the forest of light.
